I consider it a good strength weapon, i used it for most of my playthrough and was quite good, but in the late game i changed it for the Meat Cleaver and in NG+ i used the northen regalia but that said the claymore is good for most of the areas so for me it is a good weapon.The Demon's Souls remake is just as tough as the original, and then some.
